Hello and welcome! My name is Emma Whitaker and I am a portrait painter based in the Washington, D.C. area. I specialize in custom oil and acrylic paintings of people, pets, homes, and special occasions. I use a realist painting technique to create timeless, archival pieces you and your family will treasure for years to come.
In addition to my portrait work, I also create whimsical abstract paintings reflecting my ongoing study of color relationships.
Bio
I am a classically trained painter with a B.A. in Art History from Emory University and a B.F.A. in Painting from Maine College of Art.
